From d95313d682ba2749569e106bd348b48e808902f9 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Levi Neely Date: Mon, 27 Jul 2026 15:19:47 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] add react file and reaction semantics in system prompt MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit New 9P file s/{id}/react: write an emoji to record a reaction to the most recent assistant response. The reaction is passive feedback — no model turn is triggered. The system prompt now documents how agents should interpret emoji reactions (positive/negative/confused) and silently adjust behavior. --- main_test.go | 1 + prompts/system_prompt.md | 12 ++++++++++++ session/sessionfile.go | 10 ++++++++++ 3 files changed, 23 insertions(+) diff --git a/main_test.go b/main_test.go index b6a7812..cbcc26a 100644 --- a/main_test.go +++ b/main_test.go @@ -94,6 +94,7 @@ func (c *stubCore) SignalDetached(int, int) error func (c *stubCore) GetDetachedOutput(int) (string, error) { return "", nil } func (c *stubCore) DismissDetached(int) bool { return false } func (c *stubCore) InjectSystemEvent(string) {} +func (c *stubCore) React(string) {} func (c *stubCore) SaveSession(string) error { return nil } func (c *stubCore) ToolCallCount() int64 { return 0 } func (c *stubCore) CompactionModel() string { return "" } diff --git a/prompts/system_prompt.md b/prompts/system_prompt.md index 51ced81..9f94551 100644 --- a/prompts/system_prompt.md +++ b/prompts/system_prompt.md @@ -29,3 +29,15 @@ Your core function is to be useful, accurate, adaptive, and context-aware.
